So what's new in the world of Sweet P?
Teething. He is teething now, but no chiclets have emerged. He's gnawing on everything within mouth-reach. The dogs aren't even safe from the petite beaver.
HappyBaby which is organic and keeps to very minimal ingredients. Organic baby yogurt is also a huge hit with Mr. P. Recently, we also purchased the Phil&Teds Poppy high chair, which has been a great help at meal times. We bought it because it was minimal, not offensive looking, or outrageously expensive. We like to put HappyYogis Fruit drops down for Sweet P to pick up, which helps develop his pincer grasp.
Don't leave me! Little man had a very clingy period. We've been working on his grasp of object permanence, and now he seems to understand it. Whenever I walk out of the room, he no longer cries. Instead, he just follows me to the next room. I've installed baby gates all throughout the house, so once he reaches a baby gate, he stands there watching me.
Travels. We are always on the road it seems, right? It's a blessing to be able to do this much traveling, and hopefully, we'll be able to do more next year. Just recently we traveled to North Carolina to visit my Mother-in-law and finally meet our niece, Jillian Grace. Sweet P also had some great quality time with his Mia. It was a bittersweet moment in the home since my MIL is moving up to New York to be with her daughter. Although NY is so much further away, we plan on visiting each other as often as possible.
That is all for now! I hope everyone had a good weekend. I'll sign off by putting up some of the family photos we took today. It took a little work to coral the dogs into the shot.
